I was blown away at how much they enjoyed the field trip.
I heard them say things like, "I never get to go to Minneapolis", "The sculpture garden was so much fun, I wish I could have spent more time there", "I really like to see art work in person", "It was relaxing", "I felt like to could use my creativity to take pictures in a new place".
My question for the rest of you, do you have any other ideas for a photography field trip? New destinations?
The arboretum would be very cool- and they are open all year round. They are in Chanhassen. Also, they used to let you in free with a student i.d.
ReplyDeleteAlso, an interesting place to go is right in the middle of downtown Chaska there is a "park" type area. There is a gazebo and really old trees- there is also one in Waconia. But both places there are some really interesting old houses and buildings. Which would be fun to photograph.
Oh, and Como Park! They have the Zoo and Conservatory!
